I seem to remember, that some time ago it was possible to assign *ped/*Xped marks to empty data token to make them appear at a precise point between notes in rendering.
Now those markings are placed either below the note they are encoded before, or at the end of the measure (if they are encoded after the last note).
Would it be possible to allow for attaching pedal markings to the empty tokens?
