ECL example dataset

I'm testing out different HPCC instances automatically, using the ECL scripts files in the folder "ecl/regress" but some of them require an existing dataset such as "regress.signedtests.signed1". A submitted job would fail because a thor file is missing. So instead of going through 2500+ files to determine which scripts require an existing thor file, is there an existing script(s) that be used to create the thor files for testing purposes?

Within testing/regress, you can run ecl-test setup and it will create those missing files for the tests.
