Contributors (mappers and validators) may feel uncertain about their input and lack acknowledgment, which can diminish motivation to contribute. See this discussion from HOTOSM QA/C Working Group related to some of contributor's motivation.

Implement a reaction button to allow project managers or other mappers to acknowledge comments quickly, showing appreciation without adding extra text.

Alternatives include using a "like" or "thumb ups" emoji.
