First, thanks for this nifty little app! I see you already provide an AppImage package for Linux users, and that's great!
However, with Flatpak packages becoming more and more popular in the Linux universe, I think that having your app published on Flathub would be a good way to spread the word on how cool this app is, and as a bonus, this opens the door for future contributors too!
Flathub is the place to get and distribute apps for all of desktop Linux.
It is powered by Flatpak, allowing Flathub apps to run on almost any Linux distribution.
I already made a Flatpak manifest for Detect It Easy (here), and if you head to the Releases page, I provide a Flatpak package that can be installed on virtually any Linux distribution, as long as Flatpak is set up.
The next step, if you're interested, would be submitting the app for review by Flathub admins.
Let me know what you think of this idea, and I can help submit and maintain your app on Flathub. :)

I'm glad you're interested! I'll contact you via email shortly.
But first, I'd like to send a few pull requests to improve some Linux-related files. If they're accepted, it will make the packaging process for Flatpak even simpler. I'll link and update the related pull requests on this comment:
