I think this exists in current version already before your changes. The release date just wasn't used much before.

interestingly enough, the error depends on terminal's configuration. For example, the integrated terminal of vscode (using Dracula soft theme):
That being said. I think brightCyan is the best quick solution (Gnome's terminal).

Another solution would be to use a dark font on the active element of the list. But that would requiere more effort
I'm not sure either. Another case is white terminals.
