rc_arduino.ino with raspberrry pi using serial #255

When i do a keypress in the pygame window, it reflects on arduino uno by flashing a yellow light but the car does not move, any fixes?

PS - i have tried running the car with another code directly through arduino and the car moves

There are a lot of factors, one of them being pin connections
