So I'll start with a quick introduction of myself. I am a long time wikimedian, User:Ainali on the Wwikimedia projects and I love things that are made open and shareable. I'm mostly active in Wikimedians for Sustainable Development but of course also in Wikimedia Sverige where I was the Executive Director for some years. Now I work at the Foundation for Public Code where we help public organizations collaborate on software.

I think I had the idea of the govdirectory back in 2016 when playing around with Wikidata, but at the time I didn't think globally, only about Sweden. I want to work with this since I believe it can empower other people to do important and great things.
