Hidden Parameters for Public Dashboards

In Redash v8, I could set Widget Parameter to Static when editing the Dashboard.

This would hide the widget from being displayed on the Dashboard.

Then I would make the Dashboard Public and pass the parameter to the Dashboard via the URL and it would change the Data being displayed by the widgets.

In Redash v10, this functionality does not work any more.

There was a similar article / request in 2019 with a lot of interest: Ability to generate public URLs for dashboards with fixed (and hidden) global parameters

So I am now between a rock and a hard place.
Redash v8 does not work with MongoDB v7
Redash v10 does not allow URL Parameters to be applied to Widgets on Public Dashboard.

Please can someone get back to me regarding this functionality.
