Unable to connect to hive datasource

I have installed redash on GKE following the instructions on https://artifacthub.io/packages/helm/redash/redash .
After the chart got installed I am trying to connect to a hive metastore which is failing with out providing any clear error message.

Please note from this namespace within other container I am able to connect to the hive metastore so there should not be a network issue
I have having trouble to sudo to root user within the container as it's asking password for redash but couldn't find it

So my queries are -

1. What is redash user password so I can sudo to root user and see if telnet to hive host is working
2. Where I can find detailed logs of this hive connection failure
3. Is the chart updated as I want to make sure it's using latest redash image

any help is very much appreciated
P.S. I dont see any password field for hive connection in redash UI which makes me think may be this chart not using the latest image
