dependency convergence issue (geocore) for javax.xml.bind:jaxb-api

I stumbled a bit resolving dependencies from uDig and found two different versions of the api for the same maven groupId & artifactId

For scope test 2.3.0 is used while at runtime 2.4.0 is required. I'm wondering it it would be possible to use a minimum version while at runtime a higher compatible version might be provided.
