What happened?

Whenever I try searching for a Youtube video using the search bar, nothing appears. I can however access the subscriptions I had imported prior, see their updates, and can access the videos on their channel. But if it's not from somebody I subscribed to before this issue, then it's simply unsearchable.

Under "Sources" could you please check if the "Search" is enabled under "Visibility"?

It is indeed enabled.

Interesting... I'm not able to reproduce this. Is this happening all the time for you? Could you please provide us with the logs and copy the UUID here?

Logging was on "none" prior to this. I just changed it to "information" but it just keeps telling me: "Please enable logging to submit logs."

But I may have some relevant (and probably alarming) information.
This issue first started with NewPipe either yesterday or the day before. Where searching for anything would lead to me receiving this error:
NewPipe1

Then when I attempt to solve it, I always get this error:
NewPipe2

I checked their github support chat, and I am not alone in this. It seems Google is doing a coordinated attack against NewPipe users - And apparently it might be spreading across platform. They said using a VPN will temporarily fix the issue, before being locked out again. Even if I force stop NewPipe, it's still happening on GrayJay.

Could you please try closing the app and opening it again, do some activity, try to reproduce the bug and then try to submit the logs?

So I just force stopped both NewPipe and GrayJay, turned off wifi and swapped over to mobile data (changing my IP address), reopened only GrayJay, and the search function worked.
I think it’s safe to say they must have blacklisted my home IP address, which breaks both GrayJay and NewPipe.
Logging is not seeming to stay active when I close the app. I'm not getting an error code - It is just refusing to load anything in.

Alright I was able to submit some logs, not sure how much they'll help.
