Issue with CUSTOM as used with PUT and DRAW STRING

All Windows versions from 1.08.0 Win32 to the current version seem to break this feature. Even the examples on the help pages for CUSTOM and PUT (Graphics) won't compile--you get a Type Mismatch error on lines where the CUSTOM function is called. I have tried versions 1.07.1, 1.08.0, 1.09.0, and 1.10.1. Only 1.07.1 works correctly.
