Secret not updating

Hi,

I was able to create the secret for the first time and next time when I make changes to the content of the secret, it is not updating the secret but still maintaining the old value.
If I delete the secret and recreate it, then new value shows up.
Is there any specific order by which we need to update the secrets.
I am using resource - dsm_secret.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
