You guys probably already know about this, but this will work temporarily.

npm install https://github.com/flatiron/cradle.git

or in package.json

"cradle": "https://github.com/flatiron/cradle.git"

If you want to use this url fork, I don't plan on adding anything to it from here on out. I only committed the initial mango support.
