Can I execute the Fcitx5 Input Window without using XWayland?

Right now I am using fcitx5 in hyprland and it works fine in the Wayland environment, but I am concerned that the popup window is working in Xwayland.
Is it possible to run it without XWayland?

Whether the xwayland window is used, it depends on your compositor, and the application you are using.

Fcitx can render the input window with both wayland / xwayland at the same time.

1. If the application being used is Xwayland, then the input window is xwayland.
2. If the application is wayland and using text-input (and need compositor to support xwayland), and compositor can do zwp_input_method and support popup surface, then the window is wayland.
3. If the application and gtk/qt running under wayland and fcitx im module is being used, then it's rendered by im module, which is just like a sub popup window of that application, which would also be wayland, unless fcitx im module finds that it can't render the window this way, then xwayland window will be used, because wayland window can not be moved programmatically.

And, if DISPLAY is set, fcitx will initialize any resource it requires to support X.

If you want to more detailed answer, please provide the information that which compositor you are using and fcitx5-diagnose output.
