Get selected item

Is there some way to get the selected item without use a listener ? Thanks

There currently isn't, however I do agree that it should definitely be implemented.

I'll see if I can add it in the upcoming months, however I do have exams (from May to June), so it may take a while for me to add this feature.

Alternatively, if you want to add it yourself (via a pull request) then you are more than welcome to.

Sorry - it's been a while since I've updated the UsefulViews library. I wanted to let you know that this is still on my to-do list and that I haven't forgotten about it. I haven't been able to look into this issue in detail yet as I am extremely busy with studying for exams at school .

I will try to look into it in a couple weeks time.
