Batocera 38 issue when launching game

I just updated to batocera 38 and I'm not sure if this is a v38 issue or an artflix issue compatibility with v38, but when I launch any game, the normal artwork is shown as the game loads but there is also an artflix window present. Its a bit annoying and not astheticly pleasing.

I have the same issue, it seems that the layer that contains the Artflix logo and is used to darken the image is sized differently from the game artwork, thus the grey box and logo in the middle of the screen when launching the game.
