2024-04-10 Express Working Session #224

@UlisesGascon do we still need the thread model on this agenda? @crandmck For the website one, we talked about this one a bit last time IIRC, just want to check that this should be on the agenda for tomorrow. I think we probably need to make a decision on the LTS strat, and if we have time we can get to the TS stuff. I want to try and be a bit more formal for these meetings going forward to try and make sure we get to all the topics and make sure everyone has time to say their part. So just checking in on the agenda ahead of time to be prepared. |
Not really, for now is stable and available 👍 Can we include a discussion about triage team reactivation? |
I see you removed that one, and I added the triage team topic. |
Re docs, I have one specific item I'd like to discuss. Should take 5 mins or so. I've been working on this incrementally and there are already some existing issues, but here are my notes https://github.com/expressjs/expressjs.com/wiki/Discuss:-Remove-pages-from-docs . |
I just found out I have a conflict that I can't move for the first 30m (until 2:30 PT). I would appreciate it if you could defer discussion of the above topic until I join. Apologies! |
Proposal to add to Agenda: Nominate @jonchurch to TC |

Why didn't the Zoom link in this issue work? @UlisesGascon kindly sent me the link in Slack, but I would like to figure it out so I don't have to keep pinging just to join the TC meeting! Is the link shared somewhere else that I don't know about? |
Not sure why, but the zoom link that always work (AFAIK) is the one included in the OpenJS calendar (see), also the meeting times are correct there |
Ditto on the links/time issues, I keep forgetting it and don't use Google calendar. Is it possible to have an Express.js calendar subset of OpenJS that I can subscribe to? Otherwise, if the links are stable, I'll try creating my own events so I don't keep missing or showing up late. |
ty! I bookmarked the OpenJS calendar, so hopefully this won't be an issue next time... |
FWIW the links in these issues are just here: https://github.com/expressjs/discussions/blob/master/.github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/meeting.md?plain=1#L46 If I got them wrong, or they change, anyone can open a PR to fix them. Now that you are saying they are wrong though, I wonder if we now have two links, one for the working session and one for the tc meeting? This is using a shared template, so we might need to break it into two templates? |
