Ente Auth not opening in iOS 12

Description

I just downloaded Ente Auth for the first time as I'm in the process of migrating from Authy to this. I like how Ente Auth works in general, plus being open source is always nice. However, after setting up a new account on the web, I'm guided to download the mobile app on my iPhone, which is iPhone 6S running iOS 12.2 (I cannot update the iOS version since doing so will result in an unusable phone). Strangely enough, after downloading it, I try to open the app but always end up with a crash at the splash screen. Reinstalling multiple times doesn't help either.

I have the feeling that this won't be fixed since iOS 12 is multiple years old already.

Then that will be a shame for 5S/SE/6/6+ users.
