Example IGOT dataset metadata

  • Decide naming convention for dataset identifiers (CITY_PATH_SUBJECT, e.g. london_whitechapel_sub-oe309002)
  • Project folder structure based on BIDS
  • Decide naming convention for subject identifier (ID used should be from informed consent form, e.g. OEXXX001 3 digits for encryption and 001 following sequence number; or exp1_01_03 [NAME]_DD_SS; sequence number of subject and session)
  • Log the name and contact of experimenter running the experiment
  • Criteria for deciding dataset ownership (e.g. NGR vs FMUL)
  • Decide which datasets are public vs private (S3 bucket and NAS / other shared folder system will always be private)
    • All analyzed datasets will be public, currently deciding on format of data frames
  • Decide license for datasets (e.g. CC BY-NC 4.0)
  • Gather point of contact information (email, institution, etc)
  • Specify missing metadata link fields, e.g. dataset URI, external links, etc. (check with BR)
  • Decide list of keywords and themes applicable to biosignal data (check with BR)
  • Decide convention for timestamp of dataset creation and publication
  • Decide convention for geometry specification (bounding box, path, check with BR)
  • Specify how to handle private vs public data (e.g. video frames, check with BR how data access control in SDI works)
    • all raw data goes in NAS; only public anonymized data goes in SDI
