Sometimes (I don’t know what triggers it) wingpanel appears:
with a semi-transparent bakground
without any background
This is in addition to the currently expected behaviour of it appearing with an opaque background when a window is snapped to screen left/right or maximised.
Expected Behavior
It would pick one and stick to it :)
Steps to Reproduce
I can’t consistently reproduce it.

PS. The closest I’ve come to a workaround to this (it’s now permanently displaying with a transparent background and I’m trying to record the screen) is to turn off the transparency altogether:
gsettings set io.elementary.desktop.wingpanel use-transparency false
