Steps to reproduce

Downloaded a fresh copy of 64bit windows app and upon starting it, I am seeing the red circle with an '!' in it.
Clicking 'mark as read' does not remove it. This is the same issue that I have been having with the Windows app all along. I dont have the issue when using Element in a browser.
Element
I also have an issue with screen sharing using the pp. It wont allow me to share at all.

Outcome

What did you expect? Info on how to remove the '!'.

Operating system

W11

Application version

1.11.82

How did you install the app?

From Element website.
