Steps to reproduce

  1. Where are you starting? What can you see?
  • Open element-desktop
  • Wait indeterminate amount of time
  • element-desktop crashes with following log in journal:
Mar 07 07:46:15 lane-pc kernel: traps: element-desktop[3174] trap int3 ip:55ce08fbebbf sp:7ffe74377250 error:0 in element-desktop[55ce089d9000+8009000]
  1. What do you click?
  • Nothing, it crashes when it's just sitting open on the desktop
  1. More steps…

App doesn't randomly crash

What happened instead?

Random crash

Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS

Element version: 1.11.59 Crypto version: Olm 3.2.15
