Flaws in the collision detection algorithm manifest as:

  • "Gravity": objects at rest "sink" into the floor.
  • "Collision Detection": fast (usually small) objects may become embedded in or pass through larger objects.
  • "Air Pressure": gas particles "leaking" from the chamber.
