Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences is the controller for issuing Edubadges. For the edubadges platform to function, it is necessary to process personal data. Students receive edubadges as a recognition for an achievement as a student at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences so they can prove that they have met the assessment criteria associated with the achievement.
- Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences uses personal data to issue an edubadge: first name, last name and email address.
- An edubadge contains your eduID, which you can create via SURF. The edubadge also contains information such as the time of issue, the publisher (Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences) and information about the achievement, educational module and/or learning outcome.
