I have been working on the online intermediate earth data science textbook and found one plot of the Colorado flood to be inconsistent with the data.
In Section 9, Chapter 20, Lesson 5, the Digital Elevation Model of Difference (DoD) is shown for the 2013 Colorado flood. The plot shows large areas of sedimentation.
The plot in Section 2 shows the opposite. Using the earthpy 'colorado-flood' dataset to make my own plot, I also see mostly erosion along the river bed.
Screenshot of plot and text in section 9. In my understanding of the flood data, green areas show erosion and purple areas sedimentation.
