Why are endpoints not showing up in Azure Functions?

I created a sample project to test donet aspire functions and the endpoints are not showing up with azure functions:

var builder = DistributedApplication.CreateBuilder(args);

builder.AddProject<Projects.OrderCreation>("orderCreation");
builder.AddProject<Projects.OrderProcessing>("orderProcessing");

var host = builder.Build();

host.Run();

Using the Aspire.Hosting.Azure.Functions pre release package I get the AddAzureFunctionsProject and the panel shows the endpoints, but from what I understand it needs docker to run. Is there any way to run it without docker?

You can install podman instead of docker. But we run azurite as a container and functions requires a storage account.
