This only happend on redNAND right? This does not affect the sysNAND mode? |
redNAND doesn't support vwii |
Please isolate the problem and fix it then. ^^

I don't believe you can actually fix this issue. (I could be completely wrong but I think I have the general idea.) RedNAND is an emulated NAND. vWii requires jumping to a new NAND, similar to EmuNAND for 3DS. DS games could not be played on EmuNAND because you are leaving the emulated NAND. The system probably doesn't know how to handle it and crashes or just fails. |
The cIOS is left once vWii is started because it has it's own IOS fw.img and everything that is loaded afterwards is not redirected and is loaded directly from slccmpt. So it should basically start vWii the same way from sysNAND and redNAND. I did not try launching vWii from redNAND on Mocha yet though. |
I tried to launch purchased Wii VC Metroid Prime Trilogy from mocha rednand it starts to load but then seems to fail and WiiU restarts back in sysnand. I imported my rednand vWii Mii's into WiiU Mii Maker successfully, it would be great if Wii VC and vWii worked in rednand too. |
@dimok789 is there a workaround? |
I setup redNAND with this and I am unable to launch the vWii System Menu, says that an error has occurred in a hard to read font. The characters are missing chunks of white.
When launching the vWii the screen does flash a couple colours before failing.
