Google Phasing Out Fusion Tables

Hi! This may be an obvious question, but I'm looking to build a map with this tool (I'll have to teach myself, which will be easy with all this info!) But Google is phasing out Fusion Tables in 6 months - is there a plan for this template functioning beyond that? I just don't want to dive into this process if it's just going to be obsolete. Thank you!

Thanks for this question. As of now, I don't have any plans to support this template after Fusion Tables shuts down. As I documented in this thread <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/fusion-table-map-template/IPvRcFnlDQo>, there are alternative services you can use, but nothing that is a complete and free replacement.
