in the current implementation, none of the notebook level metadata is elevated to visual document.
the notebook metadata might include author or kernel information that would assist the general user experience. the information is suppressed is most current nbconvert implementations

existing documentation tools will serve as a reference for the canonical location of the author. we'll then apply best practices to anchors for marking up author information using rel attributes.
