Tried to connect to a v2 onion address

Hi there,

When running:
python pwndb.py --target domain.com
I get:
[-] Searching for leaks... [!] Can't connect to service! Make sure Tor socks proxy is listening on 127.0.0.1:9050

and in the Terminal window that Tor is running in it shows:
Jun 22 11:09:15.000 [warn] Tried to connect to a v2 onion address, but this version of Tor no longer supports them. Please encourage the site operator to upgrade. For more information see https://blog.torproject.org/v2-deprecation-timeline.

Is there a setting I must change or is this project not working anymore?

I think tor automatically updates if you're re-installing it, but there's an address pwndb uses to retrieve data and I think it uses v2 addresses?? I don't know. Can someone help find a solution?

So it looks like that http://pwndb2am4tzkvold.onion/ is the link, but the website/service is down (by multiple Tor search engines saying so).
It is unreachable either because of an error or this URL has not been updated to the third version of Tor.

Since I can't use Tor at the moment, try running nyx to see if you can get info on anything.
