The dfc-prototype.github.io being a Github page, should we push compiled code on this repository and open a different repository for the source code OR change the settings of this one to be a source repository and exclude the github pages feature ?

Re-reading the question, I realize both suggestions involved having two different repositories. I think we should consider a third option: keeping the source code AND the compiled web page + assets in this very same repo, even though this is a github page repo.
