I need some clarity

I had been using this extension since it first came about. But things are being added without changing the tune.
We had an instance prompt and class prompt, now we have also an instance token and class token.

Can someone be more clear about where in the flow these things are used?

1. I kind of feel I understand the instance prompt - but is it ONLY used to merge instance token + instance prompt, or also somewhere else separately?

2. Is class prompt used only for generation class images? DOes it really matter otherwise?

3. I kind of understand what instance token is, as that's used everywhere

4. What the heck is class token?

I think examples would work best.
If I train style for example, what would be instance prompt, token and class prompt, token?

If I train person for example, what would be instance prompt, token and class prompt, token?
