We're actually also supporting PINs more than 7 digits long. We might want to deprecate that, but I'm not sure how we're going to handle users who currently have more than 7 digits. I know a few (nutheads 😛 ) who do, and it wouldn't be good to just deactivate their IRMA app.
They can just type in a PIN that is longer than 7 digits. You see an ugly (+) popping up when typing the eighth digit, and you can continue to type until 16 digits max, which was and is the limit at enrollment.
It's not very pretty, I agree, but I couldn't think of a quick way to migrate out of this situation before releasing the app last week.

Proposal: When using 7 digits, enter the PIN automatically when the 7th digit is selected.
This is more intuitive, saves a tap on "done", and is an incentive to use a 7 digit PIN.
