On this GitHub project the branch 3.x is still the default branch, yet there are no commits in past two years.
The Galera 3 series is no longer maintained and thus in e.g. Debian it has become marked for autoremoval on 19 May due to Debian bug #1069535 about the post-build test Test #6: galera_check failing on architecture armel.
Should we still try to maintain Galera 3 in Debian or is it OK to allow it to become removed? All current and future use is based on Galera 4 anyway, right?

The last use for Galera was with MySQL-wsrep 5.7 and MariaDB 10.3, which both have been EOL for some time. All the currently supported versions are already based on Galera 4.
There does not seem to be any reason to maintain Galera 3 on Debian anymore.
