Description of the issue 📄

Two students have contacted me saying they have been unable to remove their RSVP for a workshop.

The first student was bumped up from the waiting list. They said that when they click the “Update your attendance” button in the email, they only get the option to attend. I have checked the link this button points to and can confirm that there is only an option to attend and no obvious way to remove themself.

Screenshot from the RSVP managemet page of the codebar website. The left side shows standard workshop introduction text. The right side is a form with a dropdown, a text area and a single button labelled Attend.

The second student was on the waiting list. I don't have any further information on how they attempted to remove themself.

My understanding is that attendees should have the option to remove themselves from a workshop.
