Proper ZST support will require following:

Specialization - Tracking issue for specialization (RFC 1210) rust-lang/rust#31844
Tracking Issue for complex generic constants: feature(generic_const_exprs) rust-lang/rust#76560 Ability to trait bound on ZST types in generic way - Not clear if it is currently possible with nightly features. Needs investigation - Not really necessary if we just riddle got with if mem::size_of::<T>() == 0 I suppose
