The coding of Nkoya [nkn] for feature 26A (Prefixing vs. Suffixing in Inflectional Morphology) should be changed from Nkonya to Gonja (ISO 639-3: gjn; WALS code yet to be assigned). Subject of Painter (1970) is Gonja, distinct from Nkonya, another North Guang language of Ghana. Distribution of Gonja speakers is spread in west to north-central Ghana, while those of Nkonya are restricted to east shore of Lake Volta (southeastern part of the country). Painter (1970: 6) states that informants are from Damongo, Daboya and Bole, all of which are localities belonging to West-Central Gonja area of northern Ghana.
Accordingly, the following 7 datapoints with the source also need amendment in the same way: 70A (The Morphological imperative), 90A (Order of Relative Clause and Noun), 90C (Postnominal relative clauses), 91A (Order of Degree Word and Adjective), 92A (Position of Polar Question Particles), 93A (Position of Interrogative Phrases in Content Questions) and 116A (Polar Questions).
