What: Allow us the ability to OCR scanned criminal records
Why: We want to enable our users to take a criminal record (that has a lot of crimes on it) and digitize the content so that
How: Tesseract is the best OCR open source library for this; google has an open source library as well; but it is very new and not well supported. https://github.com/tesseract-ocr/tesseract

Hello, I was at one of the civic hackathons, the one before this most recent one. Was planning on going to the most recent one but didn't make it. Do you guys need any help with working on the OCR feature? I would be willing to spend some time to help get it figured out if you need the help.
