Security Policy

Supported Versions

We actively support the latest stable release of this project. Older versions may not receive updates or security fixes unless otherwise specified.

Reporting a Vulnerability

If you discover a security vulnerability, please take the following steps:

  1. Do not open a public issue. Instead, email me directly at [email protected] with the details of the vulnerability.

    • Include a clear description of the issue and steps to reproduce it.
    • If possible, provide a patch or suggestion for fixing the vulnerability.

  2. We will acknowledge receipt of your report within 48 hours and begin investigating the issue.

  3. You will receive updates as we work to resolve the issue and credit in the release notes if you wish.

Fixing Vulnerabilities

We encourage anyone to contribute fixes for discovered vulnerabilities. To do so:

  1. Fork the repository and make the necessary changes.

  2. Create a Pull Request with a clear description of the vulnerability and how your changes address it.

    • Ensure your changes include tests, if applicable.
    • Follow the coding style and conventions of the project.

  3. We will review the Pull Request and work with you to integrate the fix into the project.

Responsible Disclosure

To ensure the safety of our users, we ask that vulnerabilities are reported privately and responsibly. Public disclosure before a fix is available is strongly discouraged.
