code block - would it be possible to render a box around blocks of code?

As a SW developer I'm visualising code using a program called "glow" and would like to have a better visual separation between text and code blocks. I've tested horizontal lines. Something like those smooth lines around windows in Zellij panes or when working with neo-vim in the terminal.
