Waydroid installed fine on my system (Ubuntu 24.04 LTS—amd64), but when I ran waydroid_script and used several of the scripts (all of them except OpenGAPPS, MicroG, and Smartdock), my Waydroid became completely borked. The app icons all disappeared, the menu navigation stopped working, the mouse pointer sprite became a garbled mess, and I continually got an error message saying "Trebuchet keeps stopping" with the options "App info" or "Close app."
So, naturally, I tried a reinstall.
The problem persisted.
I tried purging all the bits from waydroid_scripts I could find, and waydroid, then reinstalling... No dice.
I've opened an issue on the main Github project for Waydroid to see if anyone there can help me restore the fresh install experience, but whatever caused this was most certainly from waydroid_script; and no matter how many times I uninstall, purge files, and reinstall, I cannot reinstall Waydroid in a way that avoids this same problem.
