One recurring complaint about snakemake is that it can overwhelm the scheduler if you are not careful. This is just to document that snakemake has support for Flux which means you can, for example, take a large allocation from Slurm and then run flux inside your allocation (so you end up with your own scheduler, and a single job in the system queue).
I'm not saying we should use this, but it has a lot of value to know it is possible!
