Challenges
Currently, there isn't a proper mechanism to tap into the NFT expertise within Ternoa community while making product feature decisions.

Proposal
Form a product council consisting of two parts:

• Form a core product council whose initial members are nominated by Ternoa CEO. These can be a combination of members from Ternoa, external influencers and the web3 community. This core team will be used to bootstrap the rest of the council.
• Form a rotating extended product council (with limited tenure and fixed number of seats) whose members will have to earn their place by demonstrating expertise as NFT-oriented dApp builders or power NFT users. Members of the extended product council are expected to be selected from the Ternoa builder or user community.

The amount of CAPS token holding will not confer any special advantage. Selection of new members will be done by existing members of the product council, purely based on the skills and NFT domain expertise of the applicant, and their level of contribution to the Ternoa ecosystem.

The minimum pre-requisite to apply to become a product council member is to either have a working NFT dApp on Ternoa Mainnet with active users, or be a well-known and respected influencer in the NFT community.

Expected outcome

Better product-market fit: By tapping into the best NFT experts in the community, product decisions can be validated with the community before introducing in roadmap, leading to a much better ‘product-market fit’,

Stronger Ternoa community: This method of engagement will attract more high-quality devs and serious users to the Ternoa platform, and lead to a much more loyal community of builders and users.

How will the Ternoa Product council work?

• The product council will meet once a month. This can be publicly live cast (Twitter space or Twitch stream) where anyone can listen in, but only the product council members will be allowed to speak.
• Anyone can submit a feature proposal on the Ternoa GitHub page in the specified format. Each month, one of the product feature proposals will be selected for evaluation, and its proposer will be invited to the meeting.
• The selected proposer will present the feature idea and its benefits to council members. This will be followed by discussions and voting by council members on whether to include the proposal in the roadmap.
• 1-topic per month will lead to higher quality discussions (without rushing through multiple proposals), and also lead to more competition leading to progressively higher quality proposals being submitted by the community over time.
