They could possibly provide us with the following services:

  • A modern pad app (Hedgedoc)
  • A DokuWiki Namespace
  • A NextCloud
  • A GitLab instance (with static(ally generated) web pages!)
  • An email account

Possible issues:

  • At least some of these require an uffd (SSO) account which might not be viable for all team members. But that may also not be needed, at least the pads can be configured to be freely accessible
  • Pads are deleted after 1mo without change -> This actually kind of makes sense both with regard to data protection and management of persistant data, which should always be within a wiki and not a pad.
  • Reliance on CCCV infra and their support

Feel free to discuss :)

Update: A lingo crew now exists on the CCCV SSO and we can start moving things over if desired.
