You can currently download all product.json from datasets returned using bl dataset query. We could also add the ability to compute the mean/stddev of specified entries within the returned JSON data

This sounds like a good feature to have, but let's wait until we have at least 1 use-case for this feature so that we can work with that user to implement this.

I just talked to @stevengeeky it might be a fun thing for him to implement a CCA (Canonical Correlation Analysis) using the tract profiles on the HCP and the phenotypic data.
