Can you please guide us on how can we add a new custom extension to an d existing resource

example : like "gender" for a patient resource. i need to add "custom" extension to a resource.

There are 2 ways to do this. If it's a major change and you have the structure definition, we can try to build it for you with our generator. If it's a minor change and you want to make the edits manually, you'll have to check out the core lib and make the changes under the standards folder.

We're planning to overhaul the core lib. It seems that more and more people are needing to make their own custom extensions and it's easier if everything is in one repo.
