my name is BigBrower and I am a Software Developer. I would like to use your Firmware to flash my Floureon Thermostat.
Do you have any Idea whether it is possible to use it for the Floureon CK-002 or how to find out if it is possible?

I'm not sure. Take a picture of the PCB and I'll see if it's similar to either the C17.GBHT-002-GBLWH3 or the BHT-002-GBLW that I have.

If it has an ESP8266 inside then it should be possible to write some custom firmware for it (if nothing already exists).

It looks kinda similar to the C17-GH3 but quite different at the same time. The good news is that it has an ESP8266 so you should be able to code something up.

First I figured out how the logic board was powered so I wouldn't have to connect the thermostat to the high voltage AC power while testing. It was a 12v supply from the transformer that was stepped down to 3.3v for the esp8266. In my case, the power came into the front panel PCB through the indicated 12v and GND pins in this image:

Then I attached an external ESP8266 to the TX and RX lines to listen to the protocol between the MCU and the ESP8266. I'm not sure if I used a logic analyzer to figure out the BAUD or if I just tried until I found something that gave results (it was 9600).

I went through each command (pressing each button and also each function from the phone app) to reverse engineer the protocol. You can see the results of this in "capture.txt". Once I had most of the protocol figured out I was confident enough to back up the existing firmware and uploaded my own firmware.

If you think you're up for the challenge, I can upload the "SerialReader" code I wrote. If you're lucky, it may use the same protocol and you won't have to write any code.
