opaque color selected by default
when using hand tool, single click will switch to edit shape tool if a shape is under the cursor
colorpicker on empty layer will not change color
when using drawing pen with transparent color, show message to warn about it
add welcome screen to propose "new" and "open" actions
when creating new image, add a checkbox to create background as a separate layer, checked by default
