When running High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G14042), if the application is opened with a disc in the drive a pop menu will appear stating "Sources; This disk is being processed. It is currently not available". Clicking the Ok button does not close the pop up menu, nor does waiting until the disc stops spinning.

What's your settings for Preferences, CD/DVD ?

I cannot reproduce the problem, on Monterey 12.4
